DUSTSCEAWUNG

From dūst (“dust”) +‎ sċēawung (“inspection, contemplation”)

Dustsceawung is a group of
Chicago-based artists with integrity.

Liberation is time-based work that is only as effective as we are able to meet the moment. Our demand is to amplify the voices of the people of Chicago, Congo, Haiti, Palestine, Sudan and oppressed people across the globe.

This is an index of crowdsourced tools and resources that support our demands and empower all of us to take action. Click below to contribute an item to the list. In-person actions are local to the Chicago area.

Dustsceawung translates to "contemplation of dust" or "reflection on the dust". It refers to the acknowledgment of dust as the ultimate end state of all things, a reminder of the transience of life and civilization.
